I am thankful to Housing Greensboro for accepting my application for emergency repairs. Before the repairs, my bathroom was the most dangerous room in my house. My family and I could not use the bath tub because the plumbing was so bad. When we flushed the toilet the sewer water would come up in my bath tub. The floor was so rotten; we could see the ground underneath the house. Before they began the project they inspected my house, advised me of all the intended repairs and informed me of the date the project would start. We were impressed with the professionalism they carried while working. They kept their work area safe, secured and clean. They had a caring and respectful attitude from the beginning of the project to the end. We are grateful for the work that was done and for the opportunity to meet all of the people that worked on our house and made a positive influence on our life.

Angels Amongst Us!

There are angels amongst us. This I do know. They came one day and knocked at my door.

I knew they were sent from heaven above, because they came and showed me so much love.

I asked "would you like to stay for awhile." They didn't take a seat, just gave me a smile.

They told me the reason that they were here, it was a need I had and I shed a tear.

They let it be known that this was for sure. We talked a little while and I felt so secure.

After we talked and discussed a few things I was so excited, I wanted to sing.

A few months passed, they came back again, checked out some things and shortly begin.

It was a miracle right before my eyes. They did all the things that I could not do, for they had love, skill and knowledge too.

This made my life so much better, I just had to write this little letter, to let you know, when you have burdens, trials and tests. Don't give up, just do your best, because God will always do the rest!
